I really do. There is a certain sense of satisfaction that you derive from making somone else happy. Mushy I know, but it works other ways too. For example, for my fiances last birthday I spent a lot of time and money giving him a fabulous birthday, limousine ride to a penthouse suite I had booked for the weekend, excellent weekend and limo ride back. For the next 2 months I got shoulder massages without even having to ask and masses of affection.

I do believe in that concept
For instance:at the corner of my street is an old folks home.At the other corner is a supermarket,where many of these people do their daily shopping When I am on the way home there is always one of them huffing and puffing to get to their home.Some of them can hardly carry anything.I ask them if they are ok and can make it back."Well,if I rest here a few minutes,I think I CAN MAKE IT"
I'll bring them home and the big smile on their faces is reward enough.

I have done plenty of giving in my life with not a lot in return but I guess it will come back to me one day. I just hope that I'm not too old to enjoy it.
