You can ask at any jewelry store. There is a system in place to protect buyers from purchasing conflict diamonds - check it out on the web. It is called the Kimberly Process. Basically the stones must be certified each step of the way, from the miners to the companys who evenutally purchased the finished jewelry. The certification states that the diamonds are conflict free. Our store was given a hand out to give to customers inquiring about such.
