The only college around here that offers my major is a private, catholic, all girls college. (Otherwise I'd have to go out of state or 4.5 hours away)
I'm not against it, but I'm not 100% for it.
I know I'll keep my focus in school, but I'm worried, where will I find guys to date?
I've heard there are a lot of lesbians, is that something really worth worrying about?
I'm really confused, thank you for any help.

I wouldn't necessarily worrry about the lesbians... If a girl trys to hit on you, just politely respond that your not interested. Believe me, despite being an all-girls school, that doesn't mean that they're all lesbians. Most in fact are probably just like you. Also don't forget once you start taking your classes, you'll meet people with similiar interests that probaly feel the same way you do. All girls school actually sounds kindda fun, almost like a just-we-girls club sortta thing... I wouldn't worry too much about meeting guys. As long as you have other outside interests there should be opportunities to still socialize with the opposite sex. Besides the fact that again, most of the girls your with are in the same boat. They're gonna wanna meet the guys too... So you'll probly wind up going to bars and stuff and finding guys together. Again, keep up other interests outside of school, be it a sport or a hobby, or your part-time job, also become involved w/ your local church if you are the religious type, etc. Is there an all guys school also in the area/?? I never really heard of any all-girls/all-boys colleges, so idk, but i know on the high school level, one of our local private schools is an all-girls school, and there used to be an all-guys school also in the area, and the 2 schools used to hook up for several activities/dances sortta thing throughout the year.

Bottom line is your education comes first, guys second. There will be plenty of opportunitees to meet guys outside of school...
