The "Greed Monster" turned loose by the adaption of a capitalistic system of economy, has started it's inevitable feeding upon itself. What is very good at starting the fire of entrepreneurism, and invention is also simply the most base of all human faults. The corruption into the democratic republic of are government is more evident with this administration than ever before. We are now involved in hostile takeover of sovereign nations for the profit margin of multi-national corporations that the highest members of government are blatantly involved in their administration. The vary thing that made this country powerful is whoring it out, and will eventually lead to it's demise.
So like King Midas who loved wealth so much that when given an opportunity to have a magical wish, asked that everything he touched turn to gold, and subsequently starved to death. The United States is loosing the part of it that truly made it great, Its freedom, humanity, and overall standard of living to the unbridled greed of CEO's, and multi-national corporate interests. It will undoubtedly soon disintegrate into civil war. Socialism would be its only salvation, but the extremely rich are to blinded by greed to see it. The disease that is the Midas touch will mean the death of them all.

Moral? Our culture has become so...ME...NOW... that if they touched their mom and she turned to GOLD they would chissel her down to make flakes for their GoldSlogger and then glorify her death and praise her as the all giving parent.

All while, some childs dad just stabbed their mom, chopped her body into pieces and reported her missing a week later.

Only in America.

Everything that he touched, turned to gold, which included food.
If pig excrement and gold were the same,'George Bush' would be 'Midas'.
