Annie Lennox. While all these women have power in their voices, Lennox's artistry and the range of emotion and character in her voice place her above the others, in my opinion. She's a musician as well as a singer and she also seems more original than the other three. Lots of people can "belt" a song (look at American Idol!) but their voices are bland. If the colors and expression in a voice were represented by crayons, Annie Lennox is working with the 96 crayon box.

In my book it's a toss up between Celine and Annie...as far as I'm concerned Whitney doesn't even belong listed with these women. While I can't say that Cher has a great voice she does have staying power.

Annie Lennox.
Did anybody enjoy Celine's Oscar performance? I didn't.
I know Whitney's making a comeback bid but it's gonna be hard to erase crackhead = Whitney from people's memories.
Cher... hmm... she's more of an entertainer than a singer, isn't she?
