She's just avoiding me. I am affraid of approaching thinking she'd just ignore me. I dont want to look stupid. We work at the same place for heaven sake, she's not once made an effort to come see me. I've tried. What the hell did i do so wrong? i am feeling that i really shouldn;t have bothered getting her this job at all at the first place. I wasted my time.

I've known this person for a little more then 3 years now. We were really close, its a strange feeling to keep bumping into each other at work n not talking. If i go HI! i get a HI....if i dont i get ignored? Dont understand what should i do? Is this what u get for being there for someone? I had never once refused her whenever asked for any sort of help. I was always there for her n her husband.This issue has now started to pook me in the head, i need to clear this but how do i do it? some have asked me to just forget it. But i would hate to let this fade off without knowing the reason for all this. Can someone please suggest whats the best thing for me to do?

Well, I personally took her cv and passed it on to my piers. This matter sat on the desk for over a mth. I kept pasturing them over n over to give her a chance, and they finally agreed to after me buggin them. Even she knows they have personally told her in the interview that I was a real friend. They felt that she's overqualified but they did it for me. So what does that tell you?

Am not expecting anything out of this. All i wanna know is what the hell went wrong? 3 years friendships gone to the drain for what reason? i still care n i need to know what did i do wrong to be ignored ? Its a real unpleasant feeling to know a person n yet be invisible to them?

jillionsing. Atlast someone got the point. Thanx.. I have tried emailing her, she's not responded. I have also tried goin over to her just to say hello a mth back....she went pale, i could see it. I think its simply guilt. Its the fact that she's used me. I have tried deliberately bumpin into her, she doesn;t dare looking into my eyes. I seriously feel like going up to her n askin her whats her problem, but i am thinking that she's just say i have no time to talk to u or somthing. We all went out for lunch yesterday at work, she was invited too, but declined to go knowing i was going and din turn up. so what does that tell you guys?

faith_n_missouri, i am not expecting a medal. My Question here is simply what did i do soo bad to make her stop talking to me?? I din get no medals for what i did,neither am i expecting one. I just feel used, its ok to use someone when ur unstable and ignore em when u got what u wanted, is that how things works these days, eh? No body ever values a friendship is that it?
Its a sad world we're living on, no one cares.

im sorry to say but from the start of reading this it struck me that youve been used, you were obviosly the only true friend here, your really best to accept that and the fact she certainly isnt worth your concern, i despise people who use others for their own needs then snub them, youre far better without her and finding someone who values friendship as you do

She is either feeling perplexed & humble in your presence, or resentful cos she's used you & now she's trashing you having got what she thought she wanted...
Or maybe she's just unhappy (with the job, or she's got other problems).
I would email her & ask her why is she ignoring you?
Or deliberately bump into her so you can get her attention?
Can she look you in the eye?
Is there a little twisted minx-type smile of her lips indicating she is enjoying what she is doing to you? Would that mean she wants to take you down a peg or 2, so she can rise in esteem at work, to replace you???

no you didnt. you helped a friend. what your so called friend does from here on out is up to them. she might not be talking to you right now because she thinks she owes you something for getting her a job. she could be thinking, she didnt need your help so she doesnt need you at all. a lot of things could be going through her mind right now. i would just remind myself that i did a good thing by helping a friend, no matter what happens in the end.

A similar thing happened to me once. I invited a friend to join our youth club. Once she joined she started ignoring me. I was glad she had made new friend-that is the whole point after all. However, she wouldn't return my emails or phone calls. It was like she wanted to start a new life without me. Needless to say, she stopped contacting me.

Try taking to her. If she has a real problem , there is one way to solve it , ask her to think " why do I have your job now " ? If she does not get it , she is a just a jealous baby.
