Okay here is what happened.. I went to shower in my uncle house. Well truning off the water the tub the handle thing came off.. water went everywhere. I finally got it form spraying everything.. well I want to cut off the main water supple.. But I cant find the thing to cut it off.. its not near the water thing. But The fust box said water heater and water pump can I use those?

the water hass stop running like WOW in the tub it is just trinklying a bit but wont cut off all the way.

I cant find the valve in the base ment and there not like a shut off thing in the closet. Its just dripping some should I wait tilll morning too?

depending where it is at, I do not recomend shutting off the water heater. that controls the hot water to all the house,there should be a panel in the bathroom or on the other side of it, if there is shut it off that way. if not if he has a basement go down and find the main shut off valve to the water supply and shut it off that way until you can get it fixed. more than likely it should be by the water softner or in that general area of the house.

there should be a hand valve where it comes into your house from the street.
