I think he probably will, but he won't help them much. Pippen is no Roger Clemens.

It looks like it, and they could use the extra body and leadership in the playoffs. I think it relies on when and if Odom comes back. If he gets the surgery and misses the first round, I think the Lakers would cash out some big Money for Pippen, cuz he won’t be cheep! But if I was Jerry or Mitch, I would just save my money, ride out this injury-full season, and hope to be healthy and get someone young and useful next season.

I think the Lakers are one of his options. But I hope he just stay retired. No matter what he says about his conditioning or the shape he's into, he'll just find out, rather painfully, that he won't be able to keep up with today's players. We all know that Pip is a swingman who can play 1, 2 and 3, thus, on defense, he'll be matched up against Kobe, Lebron, T-Mac, Vince, D-Wade or even Steve Nash. He'll surely eat dust from these guys or worse, he might get hurt chasing them. Common Scottie, you should learn from MJ.
