Why are the Indiana Pacers such underachievers?

Because Ron 'Trouble' Artest has left such an image that the Pacers can never get out of it. The players and coaching staff must have nightmares about him and what he did for the club. They just cant seem to put it behind them.

Because they made a trade with the Warriors that didn't help the team at all. Now they are underachievers who shouldn't have even traded with the Warriors in the first place and kept the players they had the on the team. They could also use a new coach as the one they got now isn't helping them at all.

Only 5 players, a coach that does not allow creativity, they run a slow offensive set, when O'Neal is out they have no one else who can step up. The coach needs to allow his players to call some plays and use their so-called basketball IQ.

they have a coach who has a good career record, but is too controlling..calling all the plays..tinsley is not agood leader at point.j oneal is good but will never take a team any where..no dominant player in the middle..foster/harrison..they have always duplicated players[harrington/bender]..they never had a 2nd shooter so when reggie left..Void created...too many big contracts that were untradable..croshere..
