I have an interview (project) that is due pretty soon, for a class I'm taking. (It's Psyc103) I have to interview someone over 40, with at least a Master's degree. My goal here is to come up with 30 or more interesting questions to ask this person about career and self. The person I'm interviewing is my aunt-in-law. She's a nurse practioner. Just so ya know. I have about 16 questions and now I'm sitting here, dazed at the page. Any ideas please share-I'm stuck and wanna make it good or at least funny. Thanks in advance.

you should post whatever questions you already came up w/ so that we don't give you repeat ones or so that it can also help us get our brain juices flowing and get inspiration from them

how about asking

if she could go back and do it all over again, would she do it or would she try to go on a different career path?

what does she like/dislike the most about her job?

what are the benefits and detriments of her career?

what does she think she still has left to offer to her career field/work place/coworkers/patients and how does it compare to what others perceive as what she still has to offer?

what does she foresee in the future of nurse practitioners everywhere [or for just nurse practitioner as a career] in the US or in your state or county or city or workplace?

what does she expect to be doing professionally [or personally or both] in 2012? in 2017? in 2022?

how has her personal/family life affected her career and/or career choice, and vice versa?

has she obtained any important lessons from working as a nurse practitioner, other than technical/career oriented lessons/learning needed for her work?

Hey; I'm over 40 with a masters degree. Why don't you interview me? Ask each question on a new post, and I'll take two points each.
