There is a product called Easy Off Heat Activated Microwave Wipes. You put a package in the microwave, turn it on and as it runs the package pops open and dispenses a cleaning steam into the microwave. When it stops, you can take the wipe out of the package and wipe your microwave clean. It's a really quick and simple way to not only deoderize your microwave but clean it too!

Get a microwavable bowl and cut a lemon in half and fill the bowl with water and place the lemon in the bowl microwave on high for about 5 min. Remove the bowl and your microwave should be fresher...not only that but the grease should be easier to clean off without having to use harsh chemicals.

Place a few drops of a citrus scented dishwashing soap in a small bowl with a few drops of water. On a low setting, heat this for about 5-10 seconds. Your microwave is now deodorized.

Two parts vinegar to one part warm water. This is the absolute best deodorizer for microwaves and refrigerators. Your microwave may smell a bit like vinegar for about an hour ... but it soon dissipates.

a/ 1 table spoon of baking soda mixed with 2 cups of water.
b/ Or use a wet sponge and dab it onto the baking soda.
Clean all of the microwave (inside and out) with either method.
Baking soda in a small cup can also be place inside a fridge or (oven, when not in use) to remove unwanted smells.
One teaspoon of baking soda in the water used to clean vegetables before storing then in the fridge will ensure they stay fresh longer. Soak them for 10 -15 minutes.

What works for me is to take the spinning plate out if you have one and put it in the dishwasher. Then get one of those Mr. Clean magic sponges and scrub off every piece of cooked on food and guk. Then, take some vinegar windex and wipe with a paper towel. It does take some work - but the magic sponges can get rid of the guk and that's where alot of the smell comes from. The vinegar in the windex just nuetralizes the odor.

fill a glass measuring cup (or any microwave safe dish) with water and a couple tablespoons of pine-sol heat it up in microwave for two or three minutes, remove and then wipe the microwave out real good with paper towels or dish clothe the steam it creates, loosens up the crud, and the pine-sol smells great.

The easiest and best way is to cut a lemon in quarters and place in a microsafe dish. Put a small amount of water and nuke it for a couple of minutes. Let sit overnight and do again. Keep it up as it keeps it smelling great.

Spray it and clean it with soap and water. Keep it clean. There is always a price to pay when you want it quick.
