I don't beleive in waiting for someone to read my mind. My
relationship with the person I am with is beyond what I could
of ever asked for. We talked about what we each wanted in
a relationship before we lived together. We had talked about
marriage, and for men I think sometimes they feel pressured
for some reason. So for me, I wanted to make sure it was
about love and nothing else. I didn't wait for him to ask me, I
asked him, and were getting married in July. This is my
second time, and the first time I didn't get married for love, I
got married to try and make things better, but it didn't last
long. Feelings should be mutual, and it dosen't matter who
asks what. Just as long as your honest.

If he doesn't ask you in a place you will never forget. If he doesn't ask you in a way you will never forget. What to hell do you think he will be doing after you have two kids you have gained a few # Come on if he isn't the best thing in the world to you find the one that would be. Communication is very important in Marriage communicate to him you are going to find a guy that wants you more then any thing in the world>

I think from a girls view that he should WANT to do these things for you if he loves you. Now to him it may seem silly for the whole "big" proposal, but he needs to say well if it means alot to her, then it means alot to me to give it to her. Love is needed in a marriage, but you need alot of other things to keep that love alive, believe it or not love fades away if you dont keep it going.
Then what do you have after your love fades away?

Marriage is one of the hardest things in life to go through. It takes complete love, honesty and friendship most of all you need to have a complete open communication with each other.

No! You are completly mistaken. Guys get scared. They can love you to death and won't ask you to marry them. And if you don't get a decent proposal once they do get around to asking, don't marry them. You will just think back on it with resentment as you grow older and change who you are as an individual.
