I am not trying to be gross its something I have kinda wondered.

LOL, Over 75% of "normal" poo is made up of water, therefore, it has a tendency to float. A constipated poo has had most of the water removed as it makes it way slowly along the bowel, and so has a tendency to sink, as it is denser and heavier. Diarrhea, makes it's way through your system so quickly, that there has been little time for any of the water to have been absorbed by the intestines and so is made up mainly of water.

What I've always wondered was is it supposed to float or sink? I mean which is a sign that you are healthy?

haha it doesnt have anywhere to go .. even if it were to sink it'd lay there till it was flushed down.... lol sorry i never really thought bout that one !!
