i have a realtek AC 97sound card on my computer . its the sound card that came with the computer when i bough it two years ago and i bought fl studio and i was thinking of buying a sound card cuz i want better noise so is the sound card that i have a good one or should i upgrade to a better sound card and if so which would you recommend

If you are a musician and need a better card for audio input or anything i'd recommend the audiophile, if you're a hardcore gamer then the soundblaster is the most popular...although with the new changes to open audio instead of direct audio in vista eax is no longer available for most games. If you just want good audio from movies or songs then you don't need anything else than what's in there
