I have a question, I am the kind of person who really needs something in the morning, and most of the time for the whole day, that can wake me up or energize myself to go through the day. I have tried to drink energy drinks such as red bull and coffees, they seem to work for me, most of the time. My question is, which one do you guys think is better and also healthier?
Just for the record, I am a 20 year old college student.

I tried the energy drinks too and they only worked for a couple hours and than dumped my energy level considerably. Coffee works the best for me. They have proven recently that coffee in moderation is actually good for you. The energy drinks have a lot of sugar, sodium and preservatives in them.

There are pros and cons to each. Red bull is loaded with sugar and carbonation can effect your aerobic respiration-that is why wrestlers and other athletes avoid it-however you can get quite a kick from a small serving. Coffee is at least natural, but it has all kinds of chemicals that can do weird things to your digestive tract-coffee contains tannic acid which is a chemical that they use to treat leather. So its like having your insides turned in to wallet or a shoe! For natural energy, apples are great in the morning. During the day, a constant supply of carbohydrates, water and protein will keep you from crashing-I like raw almonds and raisins. No I am not a health nut-I just used to be overweight and learned to how to eat to feel good.

Have you ever tried those coffee beans that they sell that are covered with chocolate in StarBucks? Those are fairly potent! They have made me a live wire!!!LOL!
I like to use those, when I am terribly exhausted....I think that they really do work!!
Also....I don't know that much about Red Bull...only that I have discovered recently, that I hate the taste! LOL!
But, I would recommend caffiene....and if you drink a lot...you might just become a "cafFiend"! LOL!

The best option is to not get addicted to anything.
Out of the two, I would say coffee is far safer and time tested. So stick to it.
If you are up to it, try one more option:
In a glass full of luck-warm water, squeeze a few lemon drops and mix a spoon full honey. This should do wonders to your metabolism and keep you healthy.

Coffee has a lot of health benefits that most people don't think of.
try searching on the internet some benefits of Coffee.
Coffee is very healthy
I mean it.
1-2cups of coffee a day, everyday, is very good!
Coffee is only bad if taken too much
(PLEASE BELIEVE ME! I AM NOT JOKING!)

Healthier....none
Red Bull has a lot of caffeine and sugar...bad combination for your body
Coffee has caffeine and is also a natural laxative.

Starbucks double shots rule!!!!!!!!! if you are a smoker stay away from red bull, vitamin b12 promotes acceleration of lung cancer.
