If an open refrigerator is left on inside a closed, insulated room, the overall temperature of the room will rise. The reason for this is that any refrigerator requires energy to move heat from one place to another, but nonetheless this energy adds to the total heat content of the room. This is regardless of how the refrigerator works. The only way the room can be cooled is for the heat to be dumped outside the room.

The room temperature would increase. A refrigerator keeps food cool only by taking out the heat. But the heat has to go somewhere, the fridge lets it out. You can feel the bottom or top of ur fridge and feel warm air coming out. So if you leave it opened in a room, the room near the fridge will feel cooler at first, but after a long time, the room temperature would increase. Why wouldn't it just be the same, because the warm air and cool air coming from the fridge would cancel out? well, no machine can work with 100% efficiency. Some of the work turns into heat. So overall, the room temperature will slightly increase.

You room temperature will get increase. when the door is open it works hard to keep the coolent inside..as a result of the process, the coiled structure behind the fridge starts to heat up. The rate of heating is fater than the cooling process..

Don't do it because your fridge will catch fire from behind if it is using Ammonia as a chilling agent, and if it is Frion, then only you will damage the compressor and electric motor. One bhayya in the chawl behind my building purchase a fridge and he used to keep it open as the temp. in Vapi goes 40 c. in May. On the second day of purchase he burnt it and shop-keeper gave him new fridge as it was guarrented against any mis-function. After three days that second fridge also got burnt and bhayya called him to change the fridge, shop-keeper got alerted and told one of his neighbours to keep a watch on bhayya to know what exactly happens that all fridges bhayya takes get burnt ?Next day neighbour reported what bhayya was doing with fridge and shop-keeper came back and took away the third fridge he had given.

The room temperature will be least affected,because the cooling coils will heat the room air and reduce whatever effect the open door will make.

The room temperature will drop but not drastically according to the amount of time that you keep it open, it will never be as cold as the inside of a fridge but the room temperature will defiantly drop

ROom temp may not be affected at all if fridge is open as in fridge the cooling capacity is not so high as it is in Air condition as in COmpressoors of Ac is more powerfull compared to ac & in Ac we use F22 & in friddge we use F12

the temp near the fridge door might be cooler than the rest of the room; all depends on how big the room is. But eventually, your fridge will start to overheat.
