It could be by one comedian or a compilation of the works of several comedians.
My fave so far is a CD named: Hey, That's Funny! Comedy's Greatest Hits.
It's several comedians doing great routines--you gotta hear Albert Brooks do "Rewriting the National Anthem." Pretty good. My fave track on the album.

25 Years of Comedy (probably out of print now)

Part of it was put in my high school's media center back in the early '80s. It had "The Argument Clinic"by Monty Python, "The Astronaut" by Bill Dana, and other great routines.

One interesting thing...the school would not play the section by Richard Pryor, but they did play "Religions Inc." by Lenny Bruce.

Hmmm...

I think Jackie Mason, Don Rickles and Rodney Dangerfield(late) are great. Gilda Radner, Laureen Neuman, and that Lady that used to hit everyone with her purse on the Dean Martin Roasts Shows.

My favorite album includes anything from Chris Rock. He's the funniest (and angriest) guy on Earth.

Complaints and Grievances by George Carlin. It is hilarious. It gets no better than that. If you have a dark sense of humor, you will enjoy it.
