I had the on board video than i put in a video card and didn't install the drivers and left my monitor plugged into my on board i went from 2 FPS to 27 fps how? I am going to put in another video card if i left in the video card i have now and put in another and uninstall the drivers to the old card and installed the drivers to the new card would it give me better FPS like it did with my on board?
To sum it up
Would it give me better FPS if i kept in my old video card and put in my new one?Than not use the old one.

I suspect the increased framerate was anecdotal and caused by the fact that you restarted your computer, and not by the new hardware. You should have your monitor plugged into the video card, and you should also disable the onboard video in your BIOS.

Unless you are using SLI, adding extra video cards to your system will not accomplish anything.
