think about that, what if their parents had died and naruto was the last of the uzumaki clan, or what if they changed his name to make people think he wasnt related to the fourth at all, obviously only the sannin and the hokage know who naruto really is, so in order to save his brother and the village, the fourth sacrificed himself and sealed the kyubi to make naruto a hero, but it backfired since most or the village resents him, any opinions?

you guys keep saying he was kakashi's teacher, but third was made hokage at like the age of 15, also kakashi became a jounin when he was 12, so the fourth could have been like 18 when that happened, anyway it was just a theory, im all for him being his father too.

To me the fourth hokage is Naruto son because they both have the same blood type , same coloured eyes and both have the same colour hair. On like the 1st episode it said 'wait till the 4th comes'. SO probally the 4th was preparing Naruto for him to seal the kyubi inside him because the kyubi is an immortal. If you heard of this....Madara Uchiha was the tsyu son. Tsyu had the sharigan + mangkykou. One of the members of the hyuga clan married the tsyu and had a baby Madara Uchiha.Madara grew up and he was used as a vessel when he becomes an adult. Then it caused him to fight his evil dad. He couldn't kill him but the kyubi gave him some chakra so he can seal his father. THATS HOW THE UCHIHA CLAN WAS MADE. So that could of happend like 50 years ago. Then the kyubi was living for more then 20 years. Anyway the sannins Jarijia, Tsunade, Orichamaru don't know who Naruto really is because all they know is THE 4TH LEGACY!!. For those people who don't know who is the 4th sensei......Jarijia was sensei of the 4th , the 4th was Kakashi sensei and kakashi is Naruto sensei. The 4th name isn't odamie or whatever. It's Arashi.....XD. 4th Hokage isn't the atuskui leader i think because when he used that fuin jutsu he needed to sacrifice his life....

I don't think it is possible at all. Think about it, Yondime hokage sealed the kyubi inside a newly born baby which was Naruto. If thats the case that they were brothers, then their parents should be alive, cause I don't think he failed to save them. Though it is obvious that they are related somehow, its still a bit of imagination to make them brothers.
And it may be the truth that he was Naruto's father. Then his wife died giving birth to Naruto and he decided to seal the kyubi using his son. That somehow fits in the storyline.
Well, all we can do is imagine situations like these until Masashi Kishimoto reveals the truth in later chapters.

The 4th is Naruto's father 9my opinion, it hasn't been proven yet) but he can;t be his brother, he is too old. HE sealed the 9-tailed fox into the Newborn Naruto, and was Kakashi's teacher so there is too much time there for them to be brothers

I think that the fourth never said he last name ( Uzumaki ) and that only the sannin know because mabe they know the fourths last name and also naruto acts like the fourth because when the boss toad said that no one ever climbed behind his back besides the fourth.

First of all the fourth is waay to old to be narutos brother.
Second yondaime was rumoured to be narutos father.

i think the 4th is his dad, because he was kakashi's sensei and kakashi is about 29 now. so at that time the 4th would have been naruto's dad age.

I doubt it, but I like it. But instead of him being dead, I like it better if he fake his death and actually the leader of Akasaki & the ultimate bad guy, then you have two siblings war, Sasuke vs Itachi & Naruto vs Yodame...
