When I first got the piercing, something happened where the backing of the earring is stuck in the groove of the post. I have tried for years, but nothing works! Any takers?

you know, maybe your ears has dirt or blood and the blood became dry thats why you cant remove that now... but i suggest y0ou to go to a doctor where you got your ears pierced and let the doctor take it off. sure, it will be safe for you.

you've tried for years, and no luck?? hmm. Shot in the dark: hold the front of the piercing with your fingers and get a scissors clamp to clamp the backing of the earring. then pull with all your might! But you're probably better off going to the doctor and letting him remove it. good luck

Get somebody with very steady (and I mean VERY) hands to cut it off with pliers or wire cutters.

If you're not comfortable with this (I wouldn't be unless they had ridiculously steady hands), go to a professional piercer and see if they can help you out.

But that really is awful that it's been stuck there for years.

Good luck.
