No, it's a rumor. If it were true it would've been reported on a news station or radio station.

Where did you hear that? I love Hinder!!! I have not heard that he is dead. I hope not. I have been listening to a rock station on the radio all day, and they did not mention it. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he is ok.

seems to me if he died, there could be information of it on their internet site. I merely checked it out, and did no longer see any unhappy information. additionally checked wikipedia and did no longer see something a pair of loss of life.
