I am immigrating to the US via the green card system.I would like some advance from the community on what should i do when i reach there.I plan to live in Maine,Masechuseets.Where do i got to get lodging aand is there any work agency to help me find work

As you have no definite town or city stated for your arrival. I can only suggest you book immediately into a local motel (Motel 6 is about the most reasonable and are a national chain with a good reputation) for the first few days. This will helkp you get your bearings.
Do a search on the internet for the city you plan to be in.
Find the city's official website and also the Convention and Visitors Bureau site.
These sites will supply masses of information.
Everything from relocation information, accommodation, employment, attractions, history etc.
It is also good to check the local newspapers for rentals and employment.
