Hah! The government didn't even want to call it a "war." It was a "police action." And I belive it was North Vietnam that "won" that "war."

The United States pulled out in 1975, No side one it cost Many thousands of American lives In many ways it is a lop sided war similar to what is going on just a monumental loss and wounding of life and costing the tax payers trillions for nothing that will be gone forever.
