Why does all men go for the very beautiful women even when MOST of them are selfish, superficial, and very demanding? We overlook all their character flaws because they are beautiful.

I have this problem too, I would love to have a beautiful woman who is a "10" however, most of them are all about "me, me ,me" 24/7 and they expect every guy in this world revolve around her. Can a beautiful self-centered, superficial, and demanding woman ever change to become an unselfish woman, non-materialistic, and patient woman? Do I have to wait until she turns 65 years old when no guys would like her anymore for her to change? It seems like thats the age when most of these beautiful women begin to "grow up"

I am refering only to physically beautiful women.

Often, it is the women who are never called "beautiful" that feel it necessary to become successful in other ways, such as academically or professionally. In the course of these pursuits, they develop more original personalities, more ability to reflect on themselves and more education as to what it means to be emotionally secure, well-rounded, and to know the difference between the type of love that involves mutual respect and understanding vs. the type of love that only transiently reinforces one's own self-image.

The stereotypically beautiful girl often receives "beauty" as her only compliment. Over time, she begins to attach CRITICAL IMPORTANCE to the maintenance of this characteristic. In short, "beauty" becomes her only criterion on which to guage her self-worth.

Dating "beautiful" men become the best way to reinforce their proof that they are beautiful and therefore worth something. Unfortunately, most of these beautiful men are equally insecure and have an underdeveloped sense of self-worth.

That's sort of cold & generalized isn't it? Some women do it to put on a false set of confidence others again know they are & can use it to their benefit others learn to do it because guys hurt them & the woman learns to count on only herself & thus use guys to get what she wants or needs since in her mind or experience guys have or will do it to her so why not make it mutual benefital. I give you sex for example after awhile of heard sex will mean much less & thus they can have sex that means nothing just like guys can. THey learn & adopt because most men help make them. I would say most do it to put on a false confidence because of past pain & hurt & as a defense. Also dude a woman's beauty should be more then physical & if you want just a "10" especially just for her physical looks whats it matter if she's self center be happy she gives you the time of day let alone anything else. Its guys like you that think they should or can have a 10 that makes mores women especially the 10s be more about themselves because they know you only want the looks & nothing else again the defense which agian is why most wont talk or give you the time of day. Find a stripper or a prositute if you it really matters I can already tell you most wouldnt give you the time of day even if you were good looking or rich because your so selfish & self centered yourself.

Like Miss Pink, I, too, am a knock-out, but I am far from being self-centered.

In fact, I know plenty of beautiful women who are not self-centered because we all recognize beauty is only skin deep and it will fade over time.

You sound a bit jaded and bitter. Perhaps if you didn't make a woman's physical appearence the basis for your relationship, you would meet someone who is beautiful inside and out.

Godspeed.

Men go for that more than women go for bad boys. If you're wise, you'll know how much beauty you can afford, both emotionally and financially. Female beauty is one of the most liquid powers in the world. Most female '10's are higher maintenance, but not all of them are. A beautiful woman has the opportunity to not grow through struggle. This is MUCH more true of beautiful women than beautiful men. Some beautiful women are truly sweet and well-adjusted inside, they just put on a front of some sort. Or, they might only be demanding about a few things, and you might find that acceptable. Somewhere between 35 and 45, most beautiful women get more appreciative and less superficial, but they are sometimes even more ($) expensive at that point. But, I must say, when some beautiful women decide to espouse feminist views, it's one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. They're accepting guys taking care of them, never holding them accountable, making their lives as easy as possible,............but they demand to be respected as an equal in every way. Anyway, I would say the changes you need start to happen a lot earlier than 65 years old, except financially.

I am a beautiful woman and I am far from self centered! You shouldn't categorize people that way. My parents teach me right, I'm a great person! If you do right by God and you are a good man, you will be blessed with a good woman. Don't worry, she's out there for you.

All beautiful women aren't self centered...

Self Centeredness is not unique to to beautiful women. There is a bit of selfishness in all of us.. We all want what we want.

As you feed your self centered nature the bigger and meaner it gets. As a beautiful woman I know I get spoilt a lot more then others and so my self centered natures is always being fed. It is hard to resist liking what I want when I can get it when I want.

not all beautiful women are self centered. Sure a few are that way because that is what they were taught. and beautiufl is in the eye of the beholder. not the woman... what may be beautiful to you, may not be so beautiful to the next guy.. maybe you are only attracted to superficial beautful women.

not all beautiful women are self-centered.
But some women who are beautiful know that they are beautiful so it gets to their head and they get egotistical.
But beauty is on the inside, not the outside...so if they are beautiful outside and not in then technically they aren't beautiful.

I don't like the majority of good-looking men I've met since they are often arrogant and narcissistic. Frankly, I've found the majority of them quite boring; I couldn't get away from them fast enough. I've been fairly good looking most of my life but I absolutely have hated the majority of attention I've received since it is usually expressed in such vulgar ways.

It's unfortunate that you are so obsessed with beauty in a physical form-and that is the focus of what you seek in a woman...if goodness really mattered, you could be happy now with a wonderful woman. Physical beauty only fades with time anyway.

Because they can get away with it. Men will put up with a lot more from an exceptionally beautiful woman than an average looking one. If one these women ever gave you the time of day, you would be glad to spoil her if you thought it would insure her staying with you.
