i can see the data through my server, but when my fren try using it, it write there 'null'. how come this can happen? any solutions?

we are using DB2 as database, tomcat as server and JAVA eclipse as programming language

Take a look at the access write in DB2. For instance, if your friend is trying to connect to the DB2 server, obviously he needs to be authenticated correctly. Check his credentials wrt to the credentials of his account (ip, access lvls) and everything would be fine.
Make sure he is doing it correctly.

what server are you using? which database? how can you see the data? thru which application? do you mean they see them thru a network?
please provide more details
