If you think you should have got increment based upon your performance, you should ask your manager. But in respectful manner. And also first try to have an idea of boss's mood. Try to have an appointment with him and then discuss it in this meeting. Wish u good luck.

If you started at a notably low salary to begin with, I would approach them after about 3-6 months of proving yourself.
