Today, somebody stole my video Ipod. I know that it is just an Ipod, but it was expensive (250) and I had gotten it as a gift for christmas. Gift have special meanings to me and it was something that I really appreciated. My parents work hard for the money they earn and I feel like it just went to waste. I feel like its MY fault that it got stolen. It's amazing how dishonest and ignorant people are these days....

Once I had priceless bootleg Grateful Dead tapes stolen from my car. My feelings were ones of outrage! How could someone that was supposed to be a Deadhead steal bootlegs? I still haven't been able to replace all of them, one of them was from the Fillmore Auditorium in 1966! This was well over ten years ago, so obviously I am still not yet over it!

Yes, someone stole my 6year old black lab. It made me so mad, they took him right out of the pen. He was a very expensive duck hunting dog. I looked for him every day. I'm still dealing with the idea of him being gone, this happened a month ago. No, I don't think I will ever get over it. He was like a child to me.

Somebody once stole my motorcycle right from in front of my house. That hurt. I loved that bike. On warm summer days I would cruise with it along the Pacific coast skyline, through deep forests and sunny ridges, to mysterious places, while the warm winds swept through my hair and my girlfriend holding on to me as we motored our way to Santa Cruz . . . all gone because of some as shole. Made me hate humans for a while there. I got over it. I didn't have to do anything to get over it, it was just a matter of time.
