Tanning allows the melanin in your skin to rise to your skin's surface, creating that lovely bronze I know we all love, but in order to tan evenly and to tan well, the most important thing to keep in mind is that you must first a.) exfoliate your skin, and most importantly, b.) moisturize the heck out of it prior to and after sun exposure. You have to consider that when you shave, you are, in turn, gently exfoliating skin cells in the process, but you should use a nice, foamy loofah or scrubby or a light buffing creme also to always keep your skin fresh and clean, so you are always exposing revitalized, new skin to the sun when you tan. Essentially, since you are removing those (dead) skin cells from your legs while shaving, I do recommend doing so before tanning. Another tip for keeping color longer is to wait for about 1-2 hours after sun exposure to shower, allowing the melanin to rise and "settle in" to your skin, and again, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE!

Only if you are using a lotion that has a bronzer. Then it will seem like you are losing some of your tan when you shave your legs, but it's really where the bronzer has stained your skin. Otherwise, it shouldn't matter as long as you moisturize and don't use harsh soaps.

Shaving takes the hair off, tan is caused by dark pigments on the skin.

I want all and sundry must be like your mom and dad. yet if fact be told, interior the united states females shave their legs and this is in all risk merciless to tension an adolescent to pass against the norm with something so substantial. if fact be told, youngsters are propose, yet for a pair of pennies for a razor, you are able to ward off that harassment and concentration on greater substantial issues on your life. i will understand that they think of this is ridiculous -- this is. I agree, this is stupid that we ought to consistently do it and that i want I had each and all of the time back that replaced into wasted shaving my legs, yet you're good -- different females will observe and think of this is extraordinary. in spite of this, possibly you are able to initiate off a clean trend. I even have hada lady chum -- an person -- who would not shave their legs (she replaced into Jamaican and that replaced into properly-known there). even nevertheless i got here across it unusual and, to be common, a sprint gross by way of fact i wouldn't in any respect seen a woman with bushy legs in the previous, I in no way picked on her, we've been consistently pals, and life went on. Ask your mom to allow you attempt it, assuring her which you are going to allow it advance back if she would not like it or if it would not enhance your vanity (it grows back straight away adequate, regrettably for those people who're slaves to the razor) and remember -- do no longer shave dry legs! consistently use shaving cream and water! or you will remorseful approximately it!!!!
