What's the best way to trim a mustache?

i.e. Smile with your lips closed and trim your mustache straight across. The trimmer will blend everything correctly and it's easy.

i use a mustache and beard trimmer,but before i got it,i used a pair of scissors.i go around my lip,to trim the hair,so its not in my mouth and i trim the ends.

The best way is to shave it off. Mustaches are passe, which means nobody wears them anymore unless they're in their late 40's or 50's. If you don't know how to trim them, that means you're likely growing a new mustache and you are young. Forget it. They never look good on younger people. It's like wearing a Mullet.

Very carefully. A good clean mirror, plenty of light, an electric trimmer and a small fine tooth comb. Position the comb to stop the trimmer from going to far. Practice makes perfect.

1 1/2 to 2 inch siccors (sp) do a great job trimming around the lips. Also, cut off all wild hairs.

well i do hair and i do eyebrows and lashes so i'm guessing that trimming a moustache isn't so bad try a straight razor and a little bit of shaving cream.or get a good set of trimmers and that will solve all your problems.
