Wahahahaha, that's the best one I've heard all day, thanks.
They will not get within 10 wins of that, not even close.

22 games left for the Dallas Mavericks as of March 6, 2007.
9 losses so far.
They need a 19-3 record for the remainder of the season to achieve the almighty 70 wins.
This is definitely a possibility; I mean, since their four-game skid at the beginning of the season, they've only lost five games. Five.
I say 70 wins as long as they don't become too lackadaisical. I doubt Avery Johnson will let them anyway.

well, as i did place a smilar question, i do see that as very possible! not evan tieng the record, but also breaking the record, and breaking the 33 wins in a row!
they do not have a tough schedule!
and yes, they did alomst garantee winning the west, but look at the spurs!
wthchout!
they have to play phoenix soon, twice they will face them, and the pistons! all of that are before the 17 th game in a row!
after that they will clash with the spurs, with what could be the deceider for all!
the 73 wins, the 36 in a row!

I think they have a good chance. There are a few teams in the east that have beat them. And then during the first four games are the only time that anyone in the west beat them. Pheonix hasn't yet and they are the second team in the nba. It's going to take a lot to get them to 10 losses.

LOL they won't. They just secured themselves a spot in the playoffs today. They prolly won't push that hard to get the record since they would want to rest the people in the rotation for the playoffs. Mavs will definitely lose some games and I think they'll finish like 64-18.

They'll come damn close. And the crazy thing is they started the season 0-4, which means they have played insane out of their heads ever since.....
