IMO Carlito is a far better wrestler then John Cena but he doesn't have the "IT" factor to become a major Superstar/draw like Austin,The Rock,Undertaker,Kurt Angle,or even John Cena so to answer your question no,Carlito is a mid-carder for life nothing more nothing less.
