I am not uncomfortable around quiet people per say... But when I ask something and don't get feedback it makes me feel as if I asked a stupid question or that they don't want to talk to me for some reason.
I understand quiet people, especially when they are concentrating on their own lives or are wrapped up in work. I can get like this, but doesn't mean that I am not going to give you feedback if you ask me a question, so this is why if I don't get feedback I feel uncomfortable.

I dont' feel uncomfortable at all. Everyone expresses themselves different, as every one is unique in their own way.
Don't opt to single out people who are more quiet. These are the 'thinkers', and they may not say much, but they are just as normal as you and everyone else.
Shyness is a character that a lot of people have.
If you look at some of the celebrities out there, most of them are considered 'shy' and 'withdrawn', but they're smart, talented, and skilled at what they do. They express themselves in a quiet manner because that's what makes them 'comfortable'. You can't expect everyone to provide feedback when you want them to. It's not realistic.
But in my opinion, if you talk to them enough, they'll share some things with you, once they get to know you.

It depends on the situation and what their relationship to me is. If it's my boss, I wonder if I'm making a good impression. If it's a date, well, I'm usually the quiet one. If you have a stake in all the opinions in a room, it may not be the best thing for your peace of mind.

No I don't feel uncomfortable. I am not overly shy, but I don't speak a great deal in big crowds, I'd rather listen.

I don't feel uncomfortable. I try to nod at them or say a word or two to them to try to include them without scaring them.
