I'm not the best in fantasy baseball (more of the football and basketball type) but I would say look at the stats over their careers and ask your friends. If you don't think it's worth it, deny it and see how the players do in the opening month of play. You don't want to have the guys you trade for get injured.
I would say no personally.

I'd probably take it unless I was loaded in steals and weak in power stats. Tejada is a bit overrated at SS based on what he did a few years back. Speed like Ramirez has with some power thrown in is a combination hard to beat. Last year, Tejada hit just seven more HR than Ramirez. Tejada had a bir edge in RBI, but Ramirez scored more runs and stole 51 bases. To get that kind of SB production without wasting a spot on a guy who ONLY steals bases like Posednik is a huge advantage. The closers are fairly even, but I prefer Hoffman to Gordon. Not a sure thing you'll get the better of this trade, but very few trades are sure things. Still this is one I'd take.

Finally a trade that shouldn't get vetoed.....the question here is do you need help in the categories being offered and can you afford to lose what you are giving away?
Ramirez will LIKELY get you more runs and SBs, Tejada more HRs, RBIs, and better AVG.
Hoffman will get you better ERA and Whip and probably be about even in Saves to Gordon.
Without seeing the rest of your team, I would say take the deal because Hoffman is a slight advantage over Gordon and the SBs offered are probably worth the dip in the other cats.
None of these guys are habitual DL visitors, so I didn't address that part of the equation.

In my opinion, Tejada is the best fantasy SS bar none. However, Gordon's fantasy value can be all over the place because you never know for sure if he is gonna close or set-up. I wouldn't accept the trade given Hoffman's age and although Hanley will be a beast, he won't give you the numbers that Tejada will

I'd keep Hanley Ramirez. It is close to even, but Ramirez's ability to steal bases will have him outscoring Tejada in fantasy this year. I don't see any real reason to do this. The closers are both old and tired.
Also, who has more upside? Hanley or Tejada? I say Hanley. Who is more likely to decline? I say Tejada because of his age.
Keep Ramirez....you'll be happy.

I wouldnt do that. Closers are not that big of a deal. It not worth giveing up a Very solid SS in Tejada for a question mark in Ramirez. (tom gordon will not do that much worse the Hoffman)
This trade does not look very good for you

Do you need steals? I don't like this trade unless you are desperate for steals. Hoffman is more reliable and dominant than Gordon and same for Tejada vs Ramirez. Don't do it.

without seeing your team i would do it. because tejada is a power shortstop, 25+ HRs 100+RBIs, but those stats are easy to get if you draft correctly. because you should have gone power for the first few rounds. for example i got alfonso, berkman, holliday, atkins in my first 4 rounds. if i had tejada i would trade him because those 4 can make up for the lost offense. hanley is a speedster. he will score a bunch and steal a bunch and steals are hard to get and if you have speed demons like reyes, crawford, ramirez then you will win SBs easily. in my opinion hoffman is better than gordon. padres have really good pitching and a good bullpen so i think being in petco park (pitchers park) helps hoffman. gordon plays in citizen(hitters park) and so i think hoffman will be better.

It all depends if u need steals(Ramirez) or homers and RBIs(Tejada). Both Closers are reliable and will get saves 'cause they are both on good teams. Hoffman should get more saves than Gordon, but not too many more.

i think its a very fair trade because tejada and hanley are going to get the same stats and both of those closers are going to have 30+ saves.
