Why there is no movies about Wonder Women, like those made for Supermen ?

When I was a little girl, I used to love watching Wonder Women, so my straight brother (that was a little biy at that time). lol

They are going to be making a Wonder Woman Movie. Joss Whedon of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame was going to direct it, but left it now.

So, the movie keeps getting tied up, like Superman and Batman did for many years before they both came back to the movies.

There is not a final script yet, so this keeps making the movie all messed up. Some people want to make this a movie about Wonder Woman during World War II, and others want to do it more of a modern take.

There is also talks of a new project, Justice League being greenlighted by DC comics. It is not yet clear who would be in the movie, but early rumors are that some of the heavy hitters would be there, and since Wonder Woman is part of the big 3 (Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman), she may be seen there at least.

Part of the problem with Wonder Woman is that she has been made into a bit of a confusing character right now in DC comics. She is finally getting more to her roots, but they keep changing things (first she was a founding member of the JLA, then she was not, now she is again) (She was in the golden age, then she is not and it was her Mother that was in the JSA, now there is a Earth-2 version of her again)

Even the TV show had trouble, first season in World War II, then moving it up to present day.

Warner Bros. is still finding a director and cast for a Wonder Woman movie. The original screenwriter (Joss Whedon) bowed out of the movie, but they plan on using bits of his screenplay with added stuff from another writer. It is still in the works! it's because the concept of wonder woman is very last generation. She could fly by herself, yet she uses an invisible plane...she's is like a female sexy version of superman except not as strong...so it's hard to make it pg and serious at the same time...plus girls willl go see superman...but no str8 guy will go see a movie about wonderwoman...sry, no offense but that's how the world works

Men movies sell, women movies dont, how many kids will want to see a wonder woman movie compared to say Superman or spiderman.

Even Girls will not go to watch those movies, they like to play with their Barbie dolls.

There is one in the works...they just need a new writer or director or something since Joss whedon is no longer on the project.

there is supposed to be one in the works, but i always thought wonder woman was a bore. i guess the writers for superman/batman etc were just better than the writers for Wonder Woman.

its in the projects. i heard jessica biel will play wonder woman, if thats true then the movie will suck and dont waste ur time waiting fo it to come out.
