I'm half Puerto Rican from my father and part Italian, part Irish from my mother. I'm light skinned, have brown hair and hazel eyes, but I also know Spanish, I tan well in the summer, and I don't look completely white nor do I look the stereotypical Puerto Rican. What race would you consider me? I'm just curious.

I'm not sure. My moms hispanic but to us, hispanic is not a race. My dads american, we all are white. My mom has a tan, but when she was younger, she was white as a ghost from never wanting to get a tan or swim at the beach. I have olive skin and I can get a tan really easily, I'm 24 years old and the last time a went out to get a tan is when I was about 12 years old. The tan I got then I still have along with the tan lines. If I stayed out in the sun like my other Cuban relateves in Cuba, MAN would I have dark skin. I'm white as any other white person.

I'd say, you are a member of the 'human race', the "culture or ancestral traditions" you prefer to follow; is up to you.

Take your pick, learn the one(s) that interest you the most. Embrace it (or them) as your own and do not get tied to any "skin-color-determined-label".

Who cares? You are what you are and you have to accept yourself for what you are! I'm half Indian half Portuguese and Bantu, what does that make me? Me, that is. I am me and I accept me and who gives a fiddle what anyone else thinks about me, certainly not me!
