I didn't write it so I don't know what it means to her but it sounds to me like she's coming out in that song.

At shows, she says it's about how Patti Smith inspired her to be a musician...but it's also probably about herself. Now that she's famous, she suddenly sees that it's where she wants to be, why it meant so much for her to keep at it and never quit.
