Why just the girls? Some guys also have pierced tongues. I think it's gross looking, but I don't think it has anything to do with values or being a role model. Who said it was okay to have pierced ears? Why are ears acceptable but other body parts are not? Just because you put a little tiny hole in your tongue or ear or nose, etc. does not make you a bad person.

Sure - they are human beings which in and of itself is a redeeming value. Just because some of us look down on people with tongue rings - doesn't mean that they are any less of a person than you or I. Some are rebellious, others just following a trend - but in the end - they are human beings.

oh totally, its amazing how getting a piercing completely alters a person's character for the worse. piercings are far worse than heroin and crack cocaine in that respect. *rolls eyes*

people having the mentality whereby they assume that a pierced navel or tongue is a sign of immaturity or promiscuity, or that if a man wears a pink shirt he'll automatically become a homosexual is nothing to boast about unless one's main company are rednecks or the hitler youth.

Although I do not approve of pierced tongues (I'm old), these are persons of worth, like anyone else, who have found an unusual way to express their individuality and desire to be beautiful.

The oral sex aid is a total myth.
Infact its somewhat uncomfortable.
Any young lady interested in being more attractive to men (which i am guessing is a reason) should honestly do something more practical like.. learn how to cook.
A woman with a tongue bead might get a guy for a night, a woman that can cook can keep a husband for 50 years.
