I have taken about 7 IQ tests and they always (if speed is not considered)) tell me my IQ is between 118 and 130. If speed is considered then my IQ was rated at 114, the lowest. I think the tests are too easy and depend on a person's education level. I am sorry but I would not have received a Math IQ of 131 if I hadn't been through advanced Calculus. Does anyone else see IQ tests the way I do?

Why would you take 7 IQ tests? Were they the "fun" little online quiz-like ones? Because those are not accurate and cannot be used as evidence of a high IQ. Have you taken a real IQ test? The score is not entirely dependent on a person's education level. That is why when you test young children (with equal education) you will still find the same distribution on IQ tests.

IQ tests online are not reliable.

Real tests administered by a psychologist have sections that are very difficult. Usually the questions are powered; that is they start off easy in each section and then get progressively more difficult and give you less and less time to solve them. You will run out of time or not be able to solve the item in most cases near the end of sections, unless your IQ is over 155.

i think iq tests are pointless. they do not measure intelligence they measure the ability to take the test. i generally agree with the multiple intelligence point of view on intelligence. i also recognize the flaw in any intelligence test: that intelligence fluctuates during different times of the day and can be affected by the environment.

Online IQ tests are pretty much a crock. You need a professionally administered one if you want it to mean anything.
