I am on contraceptive pills & I think they are the reason for that.
I have trouble with every course I take, I always fight with my husband, have mood swings, crying for no reason, having it hard to accept any word my husband says to me, recalling all the bad memories & events for him.I'm going crazy. I'm thinking all the time that my husband is gonna leave me as he gets sick of that. I'm really lost & don't know what to do!!! Do I have to replace the pills with something lighter? or to stop taking it! then what other ways for birth control we should do?we hate condoms, he always wants to come inside of me.
I am on Diane pills.

Calm down hun; lets see if I can help with one issue at a time. First you need to see your doctor. He may know if the pills you're on could be causing you all this anxiety and put you on something else. But you need to also tell him you're feeling depressed. In today's world there is so much out there that can help depression. I know because I suffered with this needlessly but didn't recognize it as such . You also need to have a heart to heart with your husband to tell him what's going on inside. Ask for his patience; if he loves you he will understand. Perhaps you are overwhelmed and need to ask for his help around the house etc. so you can focus on your studies, and cut back on your courses if you must. It was against my religeon to take birth control pills, so I found a safer method ... the 'thermometer', where you need to take your temp. Also; did you know you can only get pregnant a few days out of the month? You could ask your doctor to help you chart which days of the month are safe to have sex. I hope I gave some useful ideas. Good luck 'n God bless.

The same thing hapened to my daughter, She was on one that had way too much estrogene. Talk this over with your doctor and tell them everything. That is the only way they can help you. By switching to a pill with a lower form of estrogene, can help the mood swings, If you were not this way before. If you want to just stop the pill to see if in reality this was the problem, there are several alternatives on the market now. It could improve your relationship with your husband, as the mood swings would stop, as I think this is really estrogene doing it. Your doctor will help you.

I've never heard of Diane pills before. So by your question, should I assume that you weren't acting this way before you started the birthcontrol pills? Because if you were then it sounds like you are depressed and should see a pshyc doctor for some anti-depresents. But if this is new for you, have your doc check your homone levels, explain whats happening, ask if you should go on a lower dose of birthcontrol pills or if there is something else you can use. non hormonal ones I know of are the diaphram, and the sponge.

First off, go to your doctor. All pills are not created equal, and it may take a couple of tries to get the ones that are right for you. A good friend of mine got a miss on her first prescription: they turned her into a raving lunatic and gave her a rash. It was bad. She went back, got a different kind, and she's happy now.

If that doesn't work, there are plenty of other options. Diaphragms, the sponge, IUD, Depo shots, the ring. What works best for you depends on a lot of things, like if and when you want kids, whether you can handle shots, how comfortable you are rooting around in your body. That's another thing to talk to your doctor about.

Birth control pills are awful. I took two different kinds in secession and the second one I tried made me as crazy as the first one. I felt nauseous and cranky, irratible and woosy. I recommend trying to find some form of male birth control and see if he handles it better than you do. Also try different condoms, see if there is one you can live with trying different brands. Is sex really worth going psychotic anyaway?

Please consider getting an IUD.They are about $500 bucks but can last from 5 to 10 years ( roughly $100 buck per year)depending on which one you use.No side effects,no nothing. Greatest birth control method invented so far...
