answer: the bastard child of cyclops and wolverine, cycloverops. its a mutant off spring that shoots lasers out of the knives coming out of his eyes. intense.

Six months ago I would have said Wolverine without hesitation. But I have come to like Cyclops' character. He is under way more pressure than Wolverine. Everyone always expects him to do the right thing, and he somehow always does. Everybody expects Wolverine to be out of control, so where is the pressure in that? They are both kickass characters. Wolverine's powers are cooler, but Cyclops' character is cooler, based on that we have a tie. But like someone else said, Cyclops always gets the girl, he wins purely on that fact.

Cyclops, Hands down.
He's got enough power in his stare to level a mountain. That's a lot of pressure to put on a guy. A lot of people are down on Cyke because he never cuts loose, but just think, if he did, anything and everything in his line of sight would be completely obliterated.
Wolverine is just a loose cannon, he's a massacre waiting to happen, he's all release and no restraint, which might sound ok, but just doesn't work in the real world. Cyclops has got just as much destructive potential as wolverine, but he chooses to keep it in check because he know that if he slips up, a lot of people could get hurt. That to me makes him a more human character, easier to relate to. There's all this, and he's the one who always gets the girl.
There's no way any sane person could think that Wolverine could be cooler than Cyclops.

I know I am in the minority here, but I have always liked Cyclops as the best X-man. Why? Due to the fact he is an intelligent leader, and has always kept Wolverine in line. While Wolverine is a great character, I have always found him to be immature and childish. BTW, I have a build similar to Wolvie as he appeared in the comics..no bull..but I still like Cyclops better. Granted, his powers aren't near as powerful as Wolvie, but I just like Cyclops better as a character, as he is more "human" than the other mutants.

Hmmm... a guy with shades and a guy with metal claws plus feral attitudes.
Cyclop is more cooler in his calm attitude, while Wolverine is more cooler in his outgoing attitude.

hmm for the comics i say cyclopes
for the 90's cartoon i'd say wolverine
for x-men evolution i'd sa cyclopes
and for thee movies, i'd say wolverine, Cyclopes was a hottie though. ;)

Everyone loves a bad boy, I'd go with Wolverine. However, if I may go out of the box, Gambit has that HOT accent. . . I'd take two scoops of that!
