The Others
The 6th Sense
The Village (even though I hated it)
#23
DeRailed
Lucky Number Slevin
Scream (lol)
The Secret Window (well...it was A LITTLE obvious)
Hard Candy (slightly obvious, nonetheless AMAZING movie)
Running Scared (dunno if thats a twist)
11:14 (dunno if thats really a twist either)
The Descent original version (twist?)
but most....by FAR...that fooled everyone....that had everyone in the entire theater SCREAMING at the top of their lungs and pounding the floor with their feet that the entire room shook and my friend and I were bouncing in our seats....
SAW!!!
but then with #2 and #3...there was a twist. #2 could've been a little obvious if you really thought about it and #3 was suprising but #1 will always have the best because all Saw movies have 2 have a twist now so its generic and expected.

Hmmmm, I never saw a M. Night movie I liked. He is so predictable and seems to borrow a lot of his material. So, the sixth sense is out. Besides, that was pretty easy to figure out as soon as Bruce Willis gets shot. The theater I managed when that came out had so many repeat customers that it drove me nuts. I barely made it through once. In fact, I got called out of the film about 30-40 minutes in on my day off to help another manager solve a problem. Almost didn't come back to see the rest, but decided I better, just in case there really was something great. I felt so cheated, I wanted money back, but I got in for free so I got nothing!
The Usual Suspects is the only film of this sort that had me guessing until the end.

Sixth sense for me. I watched it on a flight from London to New York. It might have been in theatres in US but not in England at the time and I had never even heard of it, let alone knew there was a twist so I wasnt looking for a twist. So I was floored by the ending!

I agree with The Sixth Sense...I remember gasping out loud when the wedding ring fell to the floor! My brother said he knew right away! I also found Flight Plan had a good twist and Identity and Memento.

After reading your answers, I see a lot of people agree with me. My first thought was The Sixth Sense. The ending took me totally by surprise. But, it was a good movie.
