It all depends on the person. My sister was 5'2" and gradually gained an extra two inches after about 16. For me....I actually stunted my growth by not eating enough, (don't do harsh diets while your young). I gained an extra half an inch since then but I'm only 4'11" (I'm 21 so that's probably as tall as I'll get). Eat healthy and stay active and you'll do probably 1-4 more inches.

Growth doesn't necessarily stop when one gets their first period (menarche). In fact, women generally grow vertically until they are 17 - 21 years old.

When a person grows vertically (gets taller), it's their long bones growing (femur, tibia, fibula, radius, ulna, humerus, etc.) A doctor of Chiropractic would be able to tell you if your long bones have fused (which would be a sign of skeletal maturity; IE growth cessation).

Genetics are "hands down" the biggest factor in height. How tall are your parents? There is no great way to beat genetics. If your parents are short, you might try and get used to the fact that you will not star in professional basketball :)

To answer your question, YES! You can grow more. And you probably will. But it's not a certainty.

Yes.

Girls usually stop growing around 18.

I got my first period at 13 and stopped growing at 18. At 13 I was 5'2 and 1/2". At 18 I stopped at 5'5".

I think if you do Basket Ball for two years you can get that size but at that time which you do this sport you can eat Sanstol for helping your bones for growth.
