Shodaime - literally means first in japanese. He is the founder/creator of Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the Leaves. He is the user of the Mokuton Jutsu (Wood Release) and is able to grow trees using a combination of ground and water techniques, a bloodline trait.

Nidaime - Means "second". The second Hokage and a master of water jutsus and is able to summon water even without a nearby water source for his jutsus.

Sandaime - means "third". The third Hokage, surname Sarutobi, and is able to summon monkeys/apes, like the monkey king Enma. He is a student of the first and second Hokages and teacher of the Legendary Sannin (Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru). Died fighting Orochimaru.

Yondaime - Means "fourth". The fourth Hokage, nicknamed Konoha's Yellow Flash. Closely resembles Naruto, blonde hair, blue eyes. Saved the village from the Kyuubi, Nine-tailed fox, and sealed it within Naruto using a forbidden jutsu that cost him his life. Teacher of Kakashi.

Godaime - means "fifth". Tsunade is the fifth Hokage, granddaughter and grandniece of the first and second Hokages, respectively, and student of the Sandaime. Skilled medic-nin, known for her inhuman strength, with the use of precise chakra control, and huge breasts. Uses a jutsu to appear years younger than she actually is. Loves gambling and sake.
