I recently posted advice on what i am talking about here. I had some papers served to my ex-wife, putting a restraining order on her to keep her crack head boyfriend away from my kids! After she recieved the papers, they ran off and got married! What they did'nt realize was, my attorney had the judge put a temporary restraining order in affect until the court date! She is being held in contempt of court now.. Not sure what the judge will do or tell her, beings they ran off and got married.. The monday after they married, he recieved some papers that his court date for all his drug charges has been set for the 26 off this month. I can't file for custody because of my job.. Any ideas on what to do and what do ya'll think the judge will tell her about her rash decision on trying to beat the system.Technically, she broke the order marring him.

this is about her, not the kids. if she has violated any court order what's it to you? do you want to see her punished? if she has endangered your kids are you prepared to get custody...or you only want that, if wife comes with them. let go and get on with your life...your ex has. concentrate on your children and be a committed dad...period.

I don't understand why your job is keeping you from obtaining custody, unless of course your in the service.
You have to quit worrying about what your ex-wife is doing, and you must file for custody.
Whatever job you have is not more important than your children's well being in life.
You can always find another job, or you can find some way to make this situation change. But you cannot ever down the road if you choose work over the kids, make up for those mistakes. You will have a lot of regrets if you do. Make those hard decisions and get those precious kids of yours back in your loving arms where they belong.

Why would you not want to share one of the most important days of your life with those that are close to you & love you?? Why would you & your fiance want to cheat your parents out of this? You may not even be on good terms with them but they are still your parents. And they have had dreams about you, your growing up & even your wedding; especially Mom. Stop buying into what you read in those bridal magazines. You can actually have a wedding WITHOUT stress. You don't have to have 150 guests, linens & favors to get married. You need a bride, groom, minister & a few family & friends. Here in Ohio, you don't even need witnesses anymore. This can be a VERY intimate & enjoyable experience without a lot of fanfare, stress or expense. And it's time that parents, exes, stepparents, etc, put their feelings in their back pockets for a few lousy hours so that their children CAN enjoy this special day.

Do what you need to do in order to get custody of your kids and get them away from the druggies......they deserve better than that, so do you....do you want to be worrying 24/7 about whether your kids are okay living with that??????

Do you have a relative that you can have temporary custody given to? If so, get those babies away from there and with a relative, someone who cares.
