Okay, somebody I know was sexually abused as a child, to teh point that she was intentionally burned between the legs. She still gets sexual urges and desires, but now she has little to no feeling when it comes to attemps on gratification. What can be done?

This person you are talking about really needs to see somebody to talk to. I feel that her body is blocking all feelings to what has happened to her as a child. Maybe by talking to someone can unlock some of her damage and help her to start feeling okay with what is happening. If she has been burnt she could already have nerve damage. By seeking help both medically and psychologically it might unlock the secrets.

Your friend needs to get help both for the emotional aspect and the physical aspect. With the physical aspect it sounds like nerve damage was done because of the burns to her legs and a dr can help her figure out how damaged.

In the mean time check out RAINN. Their website is: http://www.RAINN.org and there may be links to other crisis hotlines (many open 24/7) that may be of help to her.
