win 2k pro is still the best O/S that microsoft ever made, it is still supported, there are a large percentage of businesses that use win2kpro so microsoft would have a uproar if they stopped

Yes Microsoft still supports Win 2k professional. The latest operating system to lose support is Windows 98

Hi there.
From what i gleamed off Microsoft's site:
Although it has ceased technical support and providing security updates for Windows 98 Second Edition and Windows Me, Microsoft's website will still offer help and advice for customers who continue using the software.
So I'm assuming Windows 2000 is still supported, but not for long I think as newer OS versions are churning out.

Yes, they just now stopped supporting 98 so that gives you a good idea at how long they stand behind their Operating Systems. And just so everyone else knows, Windows 2000 owns!

Yes they do. They recently dropped support for 98, but still do 2000 Pro and Server.
