You need a DVD ripper, here's a free one: http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/DVDFab-Decrypter.shtml

Before you want to add a 2nd DVD drive, you'd need to find out if you have any available slot, like the one your current DVD drive in. Extra slots are normally covered by a plastic plate, snap it off, then you can put the 2nd drive in. Before you put it in, you would need to set the drive first, in order for your computer to see it.

Look on the back, you'll see 2 rows of tiny pins and a piece of small plastic on 2 of them pin, this plastic is call "jumper". Locate a nearby diagram printed on the drive metal case. Since this will be your 2nd drive, so the first one is called Master (MS), this 2nd will be Slave (SL). Follow the diagram, move the jumper to set this as the SL. Now, is the data ribbon cable that connect to your MS drive has dual connections, by the mean of this, is that at 1 end of this cable, you'll see 2 connects close to each other, the other end has one (connects to your main board), if it does, then you're ready to connect everything in place.

Turn off your computer, unplug the main power cord, unscrew the screws on the back, remove the case. Ground yourself by touching any metal frame part to remove static, this is very important, otherwise you could destroy sensitive circuit boards inside.

Slide the drive into the slot, secure it with included screws, 2 on each side. On the data ribbon cable, the connection at the end is always used by MS, the one in the middle of it is used by SL, so connect this connector to your 2nd drive, then plug in power cord (the white plastic housing that has several diff color wires). If you want to, you can connect the supplied audio cable from the back of the drive to the main board, it's an optional.

Put back the cover, screw the screws back in, plug in the cord, turn the computer on. You're in business.

To see if the new drive is recognized and ready to use, double click My Computer, you'll see C: (hard drive - local drive), D:, E: are your CD/DVD drives.

That's all :)
