The choices in life are the same. Do we really have many choice or are the same choices that have been there since the dawn of man keep repeating. Its like we are in a loop, you can be good or bad. Live life to the fullest, or not. Have kids, not have kids. It seems there is a limit to our choices.

Very good thoughts, I think we prefer to think that we have choices, but our choices are within the given choices. Like as an American, we'd like to think this is a free country, but it really isn't. This is a great country in comparison to others, and based on our morals, we think it is a great country. But if you grew up in different country, and it is a decent country, those people may think they live in a great country, based on their culture.

Or do we have choice not to work or not to go to school? Let's say one is very wealthy and don't have to work, and stayed home and watched TV all day long, ate donuts only and didn't socialize. And this person is happy for a while, but later realize he/she is bored, and wants to have a spouse and children, but the social skills are bad, and can't find a mate who would accept this person. So on and so forth...

I think choices we think we have is very limited, and we limit ourselves of those choices. Therefore, mainly, if many of us (or all of us) opened our mind to different things and different experiences in the world, our choices will be limitless.

the choices are basically the same, work or not work, right or wrong, happy or sad, angry or content etc, but there are more opportunities within each choice, i mean 100 years ago women didnt really have the choice to work, they stayed at home even if they were single, we didnt have the variety of leisure activities then either, hence the large families!!

Be sure you are saved. Have Jesus in your life. Tomorrow is not promised. God gives us our own free will. So we have a choice to serve Him or not.

they keep repeating over and over. good analysis. however, i am born, breathe, and then die........... to go on to the next level. you dont have to grow up like everyone else and be institutionalized in the system. as long as your breathing somewhere, whether in prison or in a mansion, thats all that matters.
