The airport departure tax is $14.00 US when departing from Hanoi, the tax is $12.00 US when departing from HCMC. This applies only to international departures, any taxes when flying domestically are included in the price of the ticket.

Not to disagree, but I thought it was $12 or 200,000 d. When I left in November they still had the US dollar discount.
