okay i have this chemistry essay due tomorrow and i have been looking up websites for the past hour and a half and i can't find anything that can help.. here's the topic:
Discuss environmental issues related to the use and storage of chemicals. Give examples of common chemicals reactions, including those found in biological systems. Assess environmental issues related to the storage, contaiment, and disposal of wastes associated with engergy production and use.

Look up coal refuse. There are sites discussing how old coal and sulfur deposits (common in coal mines) leech into the water and soil.
Chemical--- look for chemical plant biohazard waste.
Storage - long term & short term have different environmental concerns
Containment - must prevent leakage, seepage
Disposal - used to be they could make a "dump" pile of toxic refuse... before companies / public knew what damage it could do.
